Chinley Churn is part of the Peak District National Park and is located 12km north of Buxton and 20km SE of Manchester.

Assembly is at Piece Farm SK22 4QL, approached from the A6015 New Mills to Hayfield road. All traffic must approach from Hayfield, to avoid making a very sharp turn on to the track to the farm (see sketch map on Final Details). The event will be O signed from Hayfield on the A624.

Please note that, because of the single track to Assembly, there will be no entry after 12:30 and no exit before 13:00. Please give way to local residents.

Update Friday 13th September

You will notice some "Road closed - follow Diversion" signs in Chapel-en-le-Frith. Please ignore them; the diversion is not on the route to the event.

Public transport

New Mills and Chinley have railway stations, and Hayfield can be reached by bus.

Follow the tarmac then gravel track south for just over 1km, where signs will send you left to Assembly. Please park as directed by marshals.

Due to the single track road to Assembly, there will be no exit before 1pm.

In Assembly you will find:

  • Event catering by Tom's Catering and O-Nosh

  • First aid by Peak Medicare

  • Download

Club tents

There will be space for club tents to the south of the run-in.
