The event is a Middle distance race in intricate woodland in an old mining area.

Parking is in a large field, next to Assembly and also on woodland tracks. Start times will be allocated based on rankings and will not be changeable. Parents may request a split start and then they, along with the Helpers, will have an Open start time. Helpers who are likely to be seeded, need to try to help first and run second. Starts will be from 10am until 2pm; Prize giving is likely to be about 3.30pm.

The event will use SportIdent controls. Contactless dibbing will be enabled. SI or SIAC dibbers may be used.

The previous day the British Sprint Championships will be held at the University of Bath.
